David Gaughen

Vice President, Director of Preconstruction

David is one of those rare people who actually grew up in Atlanta.  He has fifteen years in the commercial construction industry, a passion that started during summers in high school and was complemented by the participation of his family throughout the industry.

 

He brings the professionalism and systematic business approach of legacy construction firms to Cotterpin Construction and combines it with hands-on experience and entrepreneurial drive. David is responsible for day-to-day operations including business development, pre-construction and making sure jobs are running smoothly.  David’s outgoing personality, work ethic, and “solutions over excuses” attitude are traits that are leading the company grow into a premier GC firm in the Southeast.

 

David resides in Kennesaw, Ga with his wife, Lauren, and two young sons.  David enjoys listening to Gordon Lightfoot, drinking TAB, and watching his beloved UGA Bulldogs.
